The PEUGEOT E-208 GTi is the first fully electric GTi model from the brand, developed in collaboration with PEUGEOT Sport. It combines the design elements of the standard E-208 with motorsport-derived engineering to deliver high performance and agile handling. The model marks 100 years since PEUGEOT first raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The PEUGEOT E-208 GTi is powered by the M4+ electric motor, which develops 281 hp and 345 Nm of torque. The motor is manufactured in Trémery, France, by the E-motors joint venture between Stellantis and Nidec Leroy Somer. PEUGEOT Sport engineers optimised the motor control software and electronic board components using expertise derived from the brand's World Endurance Championship hypercar programme.

With a power to weight ratio of 182 bhp per tonne, the E-208 GTi accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.5 seconds. It completes a 1000 m standing start in 25.8 seconds and accelerates from 50 to 80 mph in 3.2 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 112 mph. A mechanical limited slip differential is integrated into the reduction gearbox to manage power delivery.

The vehicle utilises a 54 kWh gross battery (51 kWh useable) featuring motorsport-derived thermal management to maintain constant performance under high demand.
The combined WLTP range varies by tyre choice:

• Up to 233 miles with Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 tyres, available as a no-cost option.
• Up to 219 miles with standard Michelin Pilot Sport 4S performance tyres.

Charging times are:

• 4 hours 40 minutes using a 7.4 kW Wallbox.
• Under 30 minutes for a 20 to 80 percent charge using a 100 kW DC rapid charger.

An AC 80 percent charge limit function is included for daily battery preservation.

The chassis features extensive modifications over the standard E-208:

• The body is lowered by 25 mm.
• The front track is widened by 56 mm and the rear track by 28 mm.
• It is equipped with 18 inch wheels and 215/40 R18 tyres.
• A 31 mm rear anti roll bar is added, while retaining the 17 mm front bar.
• Specific springs and exclusive dampers with hydraulic bump stops are fitted.
• The front braking system uses 355 mm discs with fixed four-piston callipers, while the rear brakes utilise standard E-208 units.
• The electronic stability programme features a Sport mode that disables regenerative braking.

The exterior features a three-claw LED lighting signature at the front and rear. The body is lowered and widened with flared wheel arches. Perforated 18 inch wheels reference the historical 205 GTi design. Red accents are applied to the grille, headlights, front emblem, wheel arches, brake callipers, C-pillar badges and rear spoiler.

Seven exterior paint options are available: Okénite White, Elixir Red, Miramar Blue, Nera Black, Cumulus Grey, Selenium Grey and Agueda Yellow.

The cabin incorporates the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit with red and black styling elements, including red carpets, floor mats, seatbelts and red stitching on the dashboard, door panels and steering wheel. The front sports seats feature a central red insert. The compact steering wheel is finished in perforated leather and Alcantara with a red GTi emblem.
