We can ensure tread depths are sufficient and pressures are correct and recommend like-for-like replacements, if necessary. And we promise you no hard sell – if your PEUGEOT tyres are still fine, we’ll tell you.
Plus, you'll also benefit from our PEUGEOT Service Promise - striving to offer you the best possible service experience.
The study involved spot checks on more than 1,000 vehicles in 10 cities across the UK. A fifth of vehicles checked (21%) had at least one tyre with tread below the recommended level of 3mm, whilst some 3% were found to have tread below the minimum legal limit of 1.6mm.
Further research showed that three fifths (61%) of motorists don’t know what the minimum legal tread depth is, and more than half (55%) don’t know how to check their tyres.
This can have serious consequences. As the study found, almost one in 20 UK drivers (4%) has had an accident due to defective tyres.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE TYRES
When choosing tyres for your PEUGEOT electric vehicle, it is important to consider different factors to a combustion engine vehicle.
The rolling resistance level will show you how efficient your tyres are. And, with your electric vehicle’s range being impacted by this, new, efficient tyres help to maximise the distance you can drive on a single charge. Check for the electricity symbol when looking at your new tyre’s information.
Your electric vehicle also benefits from greatly reduced cabin noise, and it is important to consider the noise performance of your tyres; ensuring your driving experience stays quiet. Look out for a low db level, and A/B/C noise classification on your new tyre’s information.
To ensure maximum efficiency, you may wish to have your tyres checked more regularly with an electric vehicle. With a FREE tyre check, our trained technicians will check that your tyres tread depths and pressures are correct, and are running at maximum efficiency.
Our new range of Approved Eurorepar Reliance tyres give you the excellent grip levels and durability you expect from PEUGEOT, and more. Having the right tyres fitted can also help save fuel and improve performance. Plus, being part of PEUGEOT’s Approved Parts range they also offer superb value for money.

TYRE HOTEL
Change and store your tyres depending on the season
When the temperature falls below 7°C, your summer tyres will no longer have adequate grip:
- the rubber hardens,
- performance decreases.
They need to be replaced with winter tyres for the safety of you and your co-workers. Because it's more economical in the long run, we recommend that you equip yourself with a set of winter wheels. Does your business lack the space to store two sets of tyres?
PEUGEOT has set up a caretaking solution in the form of the PEUGEOT Tyre Hotel, which offers two storage options:
• for one season of your choice (6-month duration)
• or for the whole year (12-month duration)
We guarantee:
- cleaning,
- wear and tear check
- We will also store the tyres in optimal conditions in terms of temperature, hydrometry and brightness to maintain performance.
We will notify you when it is necessary to switch your tyres.
