Combine home charging and public charging to make everyday life easier: whether you use a domestic socket, Wall Box or rapid public charging station, take advantage of a vast network of more than 250,000 charging stations in Europe, including more than 50,000 in the UK.

Charge your electric car whether you are at home or at your workplace, with or without a special charging point. In a house, an apartment building or at work, our charging solutions adapt to you. The charging time for your electric car will be optimised according to the charging point chosen.

DOMESTIC CHARGING SOCKET

As with your smartphone, charge your electric car from a standard socket and the standard on-board charger. An accessory cable is available to purchase for this method of charging, although it is not our recommended method for daily charging. PEUGEOT recommend that you have any socket you plan to charge your vehicle from fully checked and authorised for suitability by a certified electrician.

WALL BOX

Using a Wall Box saves you significant charging time with the optional on-board charger. The cable needed for this type of charging is supplied with your vehicle.

To significantly reduce the charging time, you should install a wall box at your property. There are options for grants for some residents in the UK, please refer to the UK Government website for details here.

100 kW (DC) CHARGING STATION

Public fast charging stations deliver direct currentDC: Direct current. For fast charging, during a long journey for example, you can use a high-power fast terminal commonly called a super charger. This fast charging mode is only valid for 100% electric vehicles. directly to the battery of your electric car. The greater power then makes it possible to significantly reduce the charging times of the electric vehicle, such as on motorway service areas.

Programming & savings
Take advantage of the off-peak tariffThe time slots depend on your electricity supplier. Contact your supplier direct for more info to program or start charging your electric car remotely and follow its progress directly from the MyPeugeot mobile app. For more peace of mind, be notified as soon as the battery is full or the charge is interrupted.

This 'e-Remote control' service is provided to you free of charge.

If your car is already charging enjoy maximum driving rangesince your battery will be at the optimum temperature while enjoying optimum comfort at 21 degrees inside. Whatever the outside temperature, start heating or air conditioning the passenger compartment of your carwhether electric or hybrid  from your smartphone using the MyPeugeot mobile app.

You can also schedule pre-heating/cooling depending on your schedule i.e. each morning before you start your commute.

The charging time of your electric car also depends on the following 5 factors:

 

Battery capacity

Charging cable

Battery charge
