ELECTRIC CAR GRANT (ECG)

Save up to £3,750 on a New Electric Peugeot – Register your Interest Now

On the 15th July 2025 the UK Government announced a new £650m Electric Car Grant (ECG) scheme. This is part of the UK’s Plan for Change to help households save money and speed up the switch to greener, zero-emission cars.

The Electric Car Grant offers banded grant levels for vehicles priced at £37,000 or below, with eligibility criteria based on the sustainability of vehicle manufacturing (see Gov.uk for further details).

The highest grant, available for cars with the lowest carbon emission scores, is £3,750. The second level of grant is £1,500.

Peugeot is now working with the UK Government to confirm final details of the models which will be eligible for the scheme. At this stage we envisage that selected electric versions of 208, 2008, 308 will qualify for the Grant

Grants will be allocated and approved by Department of Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles on a first come, first served basis so please Register Your Interest here.

Once registered a representative from your selected Peugeot Retailer will be in touch to confirm further details of the Electric Car Grant scheme and support you with the next steps to begin your electric journey.
