**The fuel consumption or electric range achieved, and CO2 produced (where applicable), in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); the starting charge of the battery; variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. The E-3008 is a battery electric vehicle requiring mains electricity for charging. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 figures. Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. Official Fuel Consumption in MPG (l/100km) and CO2 emissions (g/km) for the E-3008 range are: Combined N/A (N/A) and CO2 0g/km. Equivalent All Electric Range: 248 - 435 miles. For comparison purposes only. Electric vehicles make ownership effortless. They require far fewer service visits than petrol or diesel cars, saving you time and money. With no spark plugs, cylinders, injectors, turbochargers or oil tanks, maintenance becomes effortless.
What EV servicing typically includes:
Brake System Checks
Regenerative braking means your brakes last longer, reducing wear and tear.
Battery Health & Capacity
Comprehensive checks ensure your traction battery delivers peak performance.
High-Voltage System Inspection
Thorough safety checks for all critical electrical components.
Software Updates & Diagnostics
Keeping your vehicle’s systems current, optimised, and performing flawlessly.
Service requirements vary by PEUGEOT model and equipment level, but overall, electric vehicles require fewer visits and offer lower maintenance costs - giving you more time and money to enjoy the drive.
Home Charging
Charging at home during off-peak hours is usually the most cost-effective choice. Lower night-time electricity rates can significantly reduce your overall costs.
Free Charging Opportunities
Many supermarkets, shopping centres, and workplaces provide complimentary charging for customers or employees - check what’s available near you.
Public Fast Charging
Perfect for long journeys, public fast chargers offer speed and convenience but typically cost more than home charging. Use them occasionally to keep expenses low.
Maximise Your Savings
Charge at home during off-peak hours, use free charging points when available, and take advantage of the £1,500 Electric Car Grant.
Check Your Vehicle’s Capacity
Start by confirming your car’s charging capacity (kW). Choose a station that matches or complements it for optimal efficiency.
Choose the Right Charger
A standard socket works for occasional use but is slow. A wallbox offers faster, safer charging - perfect for everyday convenience.
Select the Ideal Power Level
Most drivers opt for a 7.4 kW or 11 kW wallbox for speed and practicality at home. Higher-powered chargers may require upgraded electrical installations.
