Battery preconditioning is coming to the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008!
A new feature is now available on the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008: traction battery preconditioning. Because a battery’s charging performance depends partly on its temperature, a cold battery can lead to longer charging times. Preconditioning solves this by automatically bringing the battery to its optimal temperature before fast charging. Thanks to this system, charging from 20% to 80% remains around 30 minutes - whatever the weather. The goal: a more predictable and consistent charging experience in all driving conditions.

Preconditioning can be activated in three ways:
1) Automatically, by planning a route using the onboard navigation system.
2) Manually, via the "Energy" menu and the "Charge" function in the infotainment system. In this case, it is recommended to activate preconditioning approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled charging.
3) Remotely, via the MyPeugeot app.
