Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
To be considered a valid entry, the entrant must leave a comment below the post published by PEUGEOT, including a reason why the person is being nominated, the nominee must be tagged within the comment and the hashtag PeugeotLocalHeroes must be used. Entries must be submitted via Twitter or Facebook or Instagram, and entry is restricted to one per person, per weekly draw. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way. The promotion will run from Monday 20th April to Monday 1st June, being made up of 6 individual draws.
Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced, offensive or corrupt posts or posts submitted by PEUGEOT employees & family members, agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for posts that fail to be published on the social platform within the specified entry times. At 09.00 hours each Monday of the duration of the promotion, two winners will be drawn at random from all posts received during the previous week nominating PEUGEOT Local Heroes. The draw will be executed by an independent adjudicator and not the Promotor.
All entries must be received by 23:59 each Sunday, for the 6 week duration of the promotion up to the final date of 1st June 2020.
The winner will be contacted by the Promoter by private message by 5pm on each Monday of the 6 week promotion, up to the final Monday 1st June. The winner has 48 hours to respond to the initial message. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Winners may not submit further entries once they have agreed to accept a prize.
The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value will be provided.
Two winning weekly entrants will win a food hamper up to the value of £100 which will be delivered in accordance with strict Government guidelines in relation to COVID-19.
The prize is subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. In these unprecedented times, there may be occasion where certain items normally contained within the defined hamper may be unavailable. In this instance a substitution may be made, but only where an equivalent item is available to a similar or greater value.
The winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Prize Provider and the Promoter.
Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter. Accordingly the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
The Promoter is responsible for the first part of the promotion, which is the publication and adjudication of the prize draw. Provision of the prize is also the responsibility of the Prize Provider which will be sourced through a third party supplier.
These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
