About the range

• E-308 156 hp: up to 279 miles of all-electric range(i) The fuel consumption or electric range achieved, and CO2 produced (where applicable), in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); the starting charge of the battery; variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. The New E-308 is a battery electric vehicle requiring mains electricity for charging. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 figures. Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. Official Fuel Consumption in MPG (l/100km) and CO2 emissions (g/km) for the E-308 range are: Combined N/A (N/A) and CO2 0g/km. Equivalent All Electric Range: 277- 279  miles. 

How does the WLTP work?

The range of an electric car according to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is measured under standardised laboratory conditions. The test simulates a mixed route including city, road, and highway driving, with variations in speed and acceleration.

It lasts 30 minutes and covers about 14 miles, with a controlled temperature of around 23°C. The range is calculated by measuring energy consumption (kWh/100 km) and the total battery capacity. However, in real-world conditions, factors such as weather, driving style, and air conditioning use can reduce this range.

About the charge

To preserve your battery and optimise charging, keep the charge level between 20% and 80% for daily trips (62 miles/day), avoid a complete discharge, and charge to 100% before long journeys.

All new E-308 vehicles come with the Battery Pre-Conditioning feature, which helps maintain optimal charging times during the first fast charging session on a long trip. Activation occurs automatically before departure, when the vehicle is stationary and plugged in, provided that the battery is charged above 90% and cabin pre-conditioning is enabled.
