Why your front or rear brake pads need replacing:

It probably isn’t something you consider on a day-to-day basis, but your PEUGEOT’s brakes are one feature that should always be fully functional for your safety and others.
  • Are your brakes as responsive as they should be?
  • Is your vehicle leaking any oily fluid?
  • Is there a grinding sound when you brake?

If you notice any of the above please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

Why your front brake pads & discs need replacing:

Rear brakes have a lower hydraulic pressure and deliver less clamping force than front brakes, but its equally important they are kept in tiptop condition.
Signs that your rear brake pads need replacing:

  • The brake pedal feels softer or stiffer than usual.
  • Your car judders when it stops?
  • You can steer to one side when you brake.

If you notice any of the above please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

Why your rear brake pads & discs need replacing:

Rear brakes bring brake shoes into contact with the inner brake drum. Once released the shoes spring back into their original position, but they need to be perfectly aligned otherwise they can damage the drum.

Signs that your rear brake pads & discs need replacing:

  • Does it sound like your brakes are scrapping?
  • Is your vehicle leaking an oily fluid?
  • Your car steers to one side when you brake.

If you are experiencing any of the above please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

Why your front wiper blades need replacing:

Even the simplest things can put your safety at risk or even cause you to fail your MOT. To ensure you always have a clear view always check your wipers and keep the water reservoir topped up with a good quality screenwash.

Signs that your front wiper blades need replacing:
  • Are streaks and smears appearing on the windscreen?
  • Are they noisier than normal or moving awkwardly?
  • Are areas they wipe left untouched?
If you notice any of the above please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

Why is the timing belt important:

The timing belt keeps the moving parts of your engine perfectly aligned and has to resist different stresses when the engine starts and stops. As a result it is normal for them to wear.

If it fails it can cause an accident and lead to expensive repairs, including replacing your engine.

Please refer to the Service Schedule in your handbook pack for our recommended replacement intervals.

If it's due for replacement, please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

Why your battery needs replacing:

Designed to be maintenance-free, batteries can still cause problems and develop faults.

Signs that your battery needs replacing:
  • If your vehicle fails to start.
  • Lower performance with your vehicle's electrical system.
  • From time to time check your battery is secure in its mount and the cables show no signs of corrosion.

If you notice any of the above please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

If you notice any of the above please book an appointment with your Retailer as soon as possible.

Why have an air conditioning service:

Air Conditioning keeps you cool and comfortable in the summer and reduces steamy windows in winter weather.
Air Conditioning Refresh

To stay free from pollen, pollutants and bacteria, give your car’s air conditioning an annual health check. Our refresh service checks all the main elements, including heater controls, internal fan speeds, the drive belt and pollen filter. In addition, we’ll treat the system to neutralise odours and bacteria.

Air Conditioning Service

Keep your car’s air conditioning working as it should and germ-free. In addition to everything our basic Refresh service provides, our thorough service renews the air conditioning oil and refrigerant gas, checks the hoses, cooling fan and cabin temperatures.

Why Diagnostics are important:

From a drop in fluid levels, to increased temperatures, your PEUGEOT's onboard computer checks and detects hundreds of sophisticated operations as you drive.

And it takes PEUGEOT's specialist diagnostics equipment and our highly trained technicians to interpret its results precisely.

Book an appointment with your Retailer and let the PEUGEOT Experts carry out a full check on your vehicle.
