Peugeot and Children in Need

children in need

BBC Children in Need provides support to disadvantaged children in the UK through local and national charities. This includes children who have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; those living in poverty or in situations of deprivation, or those suffering distress, abuse or neglect.

Peugeot Motor Company firmly believes that every child deserves to fulfil their potential; therefore we are proud to support BBC Children in Need with its mission. The Peugeot Children in Need partnership began in 2012 and has continued to go from strength to strength.

Recognising Children in Need’s national approach, we began fundraising in 2012 and following the success of our fundraising superheroes in 2014 (taking part in cycling, swimming, abseiling and much more) across our Network and Head Office, we finally broke through our £1 million Peugeot Children in Need target.

Last year, we offered our support once again, urging our customers to donate to Children in Need and to 'Get Sudsey with Pudsey' with car washes at Peugeot dealerships around the UK throughout November, along with supporting The One Show's Rickshaw Challenge with a fleet of Peugeot cars.

We are doing the same this year! Peugeot has supplied the BBC One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge with it’s support vehicles for this year’s challenge. The team will ride 470 miles from Jedburgh in Scotland on 11th November and finish at the BBC studios in London on Friday 18th November, in time for the BBC Children in Need appeal show at 7.30pm, aired on BBC One and BBC two. You can donate to support the challenge or follow the journey on the BBC Children in Need website here.

Due to the success of our "Get Sudsey with Pudsey" campaign over the last few years, we are once again showing our support through car washes at Peugeot dealerships around the UK this November. So pop along to your local Peugeot dealer and have your car washed.

We hope our next venture is a big success. Visit our online store to buy official BBC Children in Need merchandise, or visit our dedicated Peugeot Children in Need site for more news.
