PART EXCHANGE YOUR CURRENT CAR

Peugeot Part Exchange

Ordering online doesn't mean you can't get a good part exchange deal. Just like going to a Peugeot dealership you can part exchange your current car as a deposit towards any new Peugeot vehicle available on our Order Online website. You can even get cashback if you prefer, or a combination of both. 

Just enter your registration, mileage and current condition of your car and answer a few 'Yes' or 'No' questions. You'll then receive an instant, free part-ex valuation which you can add to your preferred Peugeot finance deal before placing your order online.

When your new car arrives and you hand over your current car, if everything is as expected, your old car will be taken away.

And that's it! It's never been easier to purchase a new Peugeot.

SAVING YOUR CAR AND WHAT YOU NEED FOR CHECKOUT

Peugeot eCommerce order summary

Once you've configured your car you can either proceed straight through to checkout or you can save your car so you can retrieve it later (within 14 days) - from any device.

Then you're ready to start the checkout, so you'll need the following to hand:

  • Your driving licence 
  • Details of the car you want to exchange (if you have one)
  • Your address details for the past 3 years
  • Your employment history for the past 3 years
  • Your bank details
  • A valid payment card for payment of your reservation fee

CHECKOUT - HOW IT WORKS

Peugeot Order Online Choose your Delivery

First, choose your preferred delivery method (home or dealer), delivery date and the dealer who will take initial delivery of your brand new Peugeot.

Then, register (or log-in to retrieve the details of your previously saved car) and progress through the checkout. Make sure you have your info to hand.

Peugeot Order Online Check your ID

Finally, we will authenticate your personal details and perform an online credit check for your finance application in order to progress your order.

COLLECTION OR DELIVERY

Peugeot eCommerce Collection or Home Delivery

As you personalise and select your Peugeot we'll show you an estimated delivery date in real time. When you're ready to check out, you can choose between collecting your car or having it delivered direct to your door. You can also select your preferred delivery date and time based on when your new car will be available.

Collection is made from your chosen dealership at a convenient date and time to you. There is no collection fee and you can enjoy driving home in your brand new Peugeot. With Home Delivery your brand new Peugeot will be delivered direct to your door. Just choose a delivery date and time that suits you. It's hassle free, convenient and will be delivered by your chosen dealership for a fee of up to £100.

When your new Peugeot is nearly ready we'll get in touch to confirm your details, handover date and time. Then you'll receive your new car pack. Once you've received, read and signed your new car pack we'll refund your reservation fee and call to take your deposit and delivery fee.

Upon receipt of your new Peugeot we'll need to check your order confirmation, ID and a proof of address, so make sure you have these with you. Your dealer will give you full demonstration of your new car and answer any questions you may have.

If you have opted for a part exchange, make sure you have all of the items and documents ready. The dealer will check it matches the condition you declared and if everything is as expected your existing car will be taken away. If you opted for cashback your dealer will also present you with a cheque.

AUTHENTICATION AND IDENTITY CHECK

Peugeot finance and credit checks

We always take customer privacy and security seriously and carry out checks during the checkout process on your personal details to ensure that you are who you say you are.

 When we perform an online identity check you will receive five multiple choice questions based on your finance history. You need to answer these correctly to proceed.

 The answers to the five multiple choice questions will be verified and a credit check will be performed. At this stage, a mark will be made on your credit history that you applied for credit. This will be made whether you answered the five multiple choice questions correctly or not.

 If you are unable to answer all five questions correctly you will be unable to proceed in ordering your new car online. Another possibility is the online identity check cannot be performed because you weren’t recognised. In both of these instances, we recommend contacting your local dealer to discuss other finance options for the car you’re after.

 Whether you Order Online or through one of our dealerships, we will authenticate your personal details and perform a credit check, subject to the finance product selected.

CREDIT CHECK OUTCOMES

When your online credit check is complete you will be shown one of three possible outcomes:

Accepted  - your application for finance has been accepted. You can now continue to pay your £250 reservation fee to complete your order online. Following this you'll receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided and our Aftersales team will be in touch to progress your order. If you have any questions or queries prior to this you can contact the team on 0800 042 2255.

Pending -  Firstly, don't worry, there are lots of reasons why your finance decision may be pending. The checkout may be closed (from Midnight - 7am) or we may need some additional information from you in order to progress your application. We will be in touch to assist you.

Declined - Unfortunately, not every application for finance is accepted. This may be due to a variety of reasons. If you wish to discuss your application further please contact  your local dealer to discuss other finance options for the car you're after.

AFTERSALES SUPPORT FOR YOUR NEW PEUGEOT

We will keep you up to date with your order every step of the way and are on hand for any queries you may have.

Just like if you bought at a dealership, your new Peugeot comes with a 3 year Warranty plus one year Roadside Assistance (provided by the AA). Additional Service plans can also be purchased for your new car up to 12 months after its registration date, for even more peace of mind.
