ELECTRIC TECHNOLOGY: OPERATION AND BENEFITS

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF 100% ELECTRIC DRIVING?

zero engine noise

Our electric vehicles produce little to no noise whilst driving

zero gear changes

Our new electric cars are fully automatic making driving even easier

zero engine vibration

2022 electric cars have a smooth and steady drive

zero CO2 emissions when driving

Our electric vehicles produce no CO2 when driving

HOW DO 100% ELECTRIC VEHICLES WORK?

e-CMP PLATFORM
The new Common Modular Platform (CMP) has been developed in order to perfectly integrate the specific components of each energy, without compromising on performance.
EMP2 PLATFORM
The EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform) multi-energy modular platform has been adapted to integrate components specific to electric motorization, without compromising on the performance of the Peugeot e-Rifter and e-Traveller.

ADVANTAGES OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR

Compact and responsive

PEUGEOT’s electric engines offer zero-emission, smooth and quiet driving as well as high-quality road performance.

The permanent magnet electric motor offers a maximum output of 100 kW/110 hp and 260 Nm of torque for optimum driving pleasure.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE BATTERY

The high-voltage lithium-ion battery (400 V) is the on-board electrical energy storage device. The battery has the advantage of being located under the floor, which preserves space on board and cargo volume. The battery has a capacity of 50 kWh75 kWh battery also available on selected vehicles  and a maximum output of 100 kW for a range of up to 225 miles WLTP. or the PEUGEOT e-208. WLTP (1) Combined Fuel Consumption for the PEUGEOT e-208 in MPG (l/100km): Combined N/A. CO2 emissions (g/km): 0g/km.Electric range: 218 to 224 miles. These figures were obtained after the battery had been fully charged. The e-208 is a battery electric vehicles requiring mains electricity for charging. The electric range shown was achieved using the new (WLTP) test procedure. Figures shown are for comparability purposes. Only compare fuel consumption, CO2 and electric range figures with other cars tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including but not limited to the accessories fitted (pre and post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load.

Heat regulation combined with fluid circulation and a heat pump allows for ultra-fast charging, optimised range and longer life.
For your peace of mind, the battery has an 8-year or 100,000 mile warranty for 70% of its charge capacity. For customers who have taken out a service contract, a certificate attesting to the level of battery charging performance may be made available after each periodic overhaul of the vehicle. This certificate, when reselling the vehicle, will be a guarantee of battery performance for the new owner .

ENRICHED DRIVING

REGENERATIVE BRAKING

By activating “Brake” modePress button B , engine braking is intensified to maximise battery charging when taking your foot off the accelerator.

3 DRIVING MODES

  • Sport: performance and feel are prioritised.
  • Normal: for daily use and maximum comfort.
  • Eco: optimising battery life.
