The name Peugeot is inextricably linked with tennis and our commitment to the sport includes a long connection with the French Open at Roland Garros, and associations with British Tennis (LTA) and ATP. Here in the UK, we’re delighted that Jamie Murray, as one of the Brand’s Tennis Ambassadors, has chosen to further this partnership by working with us on the Peugeot Tennis Challenge.
The Peugeot Tennis Challenge offers an experience of a lifetime for celebrities Anton Du Beke and Helen Skelton. Together with their teenage tennis talents, Reece Farrow and Sophia Underwood, they’ll undertake a mixed doubles match in front of thousands of tennis fans at the Royal Albert Hall on 9th December 2018, when the iconic venue will be packed for the final of the ATP Champions Tour.
British tennis nobility Jamie and Judy Murray have devised a series of five tough tennis drills for our challengers, and we’ve been filming Anton and Helen as they rigorously prepare for the final event. Watch the teams meeting for the very first time on the video below…and keep following their activities through the coming months as they work towards the Peugeot Tennis Challenge in December.
Building on its past association with tennis, Peugeot continues to support the sport both now and in the future. And, through tennis and our brand experience, our Drive to Tennis programme works with current champions and those who will be the champions of the future.
As part of our ongoing commitment to Tennis we’ll be on the road this year at the following tournaments:
As the official provider of transport at Roland-Garros since 1989, Peugeot has provided the tournament with a fleet of more than two hundred vehicles every year, specifically to transport players, the press, the public and VIPs.
For the past eight years, one of the vehicles has been transformed into a mini TV studio, where some of the best players in the world let us into their secrets while they travel to the Roland-Garros tournament.
Broadcast internationally, 'Road To Roland-Garros' attracted more than 224 million viewers in 2016 and is perfectly in tune with Peugeot's “Motion & Emotion” signature.
Peugeot have a proud history of producing beautiful cars from compact city cars to award-winning SUVs to sporty hatchbacks. There’s a model for every journey your life will take you on. It’s time to discover how the Peugeot range can serve you.
