The Peugeot HX1 Concept blends style, modernity and a powerful design taking it beyond the notions of versatility.
The Peugeot HX1 concept blends style, modernity and the ability to transform itself. This concept car goes beyond the notions of versatility and proposes an intensely powerful design. To take its research even further, Peugeot invited Pierre Hardy to create a variation of this concept in another field.
Imagine a vehicle that can accommodate six people, that has a powerful athletic style and that offers incomparable driving sensations. With its foldable seats and its revolutionary stacking system, Peugeot's HX1 whisks you away to a future of pure luxury.
The Peugeot HX1's ultimately-efficient, spacious interior is a blend of sleekness and usefulness, elegance and comfort. Floor in natural oak, brushed metal, leather: enjoy the pleasure of the subtle harmony of noble materials and premium-quality fittings.
Extraordinarily aerodynamic with racy, elegant, streamlined curves that look like they've been shaped by the wind, the vehicle's style showcases its athletic, powerful character. Each surface is sculpted, each detail finely honed: floating grille, brushed aluminium window edges, gaps and flushes precision-designed.
The Peugeot HX1 Concept integrates HYbrid4 technology. Using a simple yet super-smart system, a heat engine drives the front wheels whilst an electrical engine powers the rear ones. This means all 4 wheels of the Peugeot HX1 Concept are drive wheels when both engines are running together, and as such boost safety and road grip in extreme conditions. This technology is integrated in the 508 RXH.
