Be seduced by the image of our award-winning Peugeot 308 5-door, with its dynamic style, then fall in love with the details:efficient engines, intuitive technology and our unique PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®.
At Peugeot, sharp design is in our DNA. And the Peugeot 308 is no exception. Both externally and internally, every detail - no matter the size - has been meticulously developed. The strong, confident lines that define the Brand are everywhere to be seen, from the slim headlamps and sculpted bonnet to the signature LED 'claw effect' rear lights. The Peugeot 308 also sits closer to the road with a 20mm lower centre of gravity than its predecessor, giving a much more purposeful stance.
In profile, the stylish alloy wheels sit closer to the edges of the car with reduced over hang whilst smart touches such as the aerodynamic door mirrors and chrome window surrounds add an extra touch of class. Watch the video above to discover the sharp design for yourself.
At Peugeot we have quite literally reinvented the wheel. Our latest development in car interior architecture, the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, features across the 308 range. The PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® philosophy centres around a driving environment that puts you in control, allowing a greater connection to the road. Elements key to this are the compact sports steering wheel that gives greater responsiveness and increases manoeuvrability.
Positioned above the steering wheel is the head-up instrument panel, which displays all the key information you need while allowing you to keep your eyes on the road, increasing safety. These innovations, coupled with a 20mm lower centre of gravity, reducing body roll, ensure that the Peugeot 308 provides incisive handling to keep you and your family safe at all times. With its sharp design, the Peugeot 308 is certainly going to get noticed wherever you go. One place you are less likely to visit however, is the fuel station. Featuring either PureTech petrol or BlueHDi diesel technology the Peugeot 308 can boast combined MPG of up to 91.1* and hybrid-rivalling CO2 emissions from an incredible 82g/km*.
The efficiency stories get even better, in 2014 the 308 coupled with PureTech engine technology set a new record for production car fuel economy and distance averaging 99.1 MPG under test conditions. Peugeot PureTech engine technology was also awarded 'International Engine of the Year 2015' in the 1.0L to 1.4L category by a panel of 65 industry experts.
Efficiency doesn't just stretch as far as engine technology either. Everything, from the LED lighting that is 50% more efficient than halogen technology to the lightweight, strengthened platform, has been developed with efficiency in mind.
