Peugeot takes on Gran Turismo 6

Peugeot takes on Gran Turismo

If you're a gamer and a fan of racing video games in particular, you'll have no doubt already got your hands on the latest  release from the Gran Turismo video game series - Gran Turismo 6.

Gran Turismo 6 is the first-ever video game to have officially certified FIA content, and allows you to customise both cars and race tracks as well as featuring an array of new models, including, for the first time, a Peugeot concept car - the  sleek L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo.

The L750 R  Gran Turismo concept is an evolution of one of Peugeot's most impressive concept cars in recent years, the L500 R Hybrid, delivering an even greater performance and is exclusively available to race in the Playstation®4 version.

The original concept  was developed by the engineering geniuses at  Peugeot and Peugeot Sport, and delivers the latest advancements in performance vehicles of the future.

In order to take on the other models in Gran Turismo, the car boasts a cutting-edge hybrid design that benefits from Peugeot and Peugeot Sport’s renowned performance credentials and ultra-efficient engine designs.

The Peugeot L750 R is equipped with both a petrol engine capable of delivering 580 Ps and 10,000rpm, and a 170-Ps electric motor, giving the car a potent 750 Ps in total. Add to that an innovative dual-circuit hydraulic braking system and four ventilated carbon discs, independent front and rear suspensions, which vary the ride height according to the car’s speed, and forged-magnesium wheels, making the Peugeot L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo as light and aerodynamic as possible.

Available to drive in the Playstation®4 exclusive Gran Turismo Sport video game (available from all good gaming retailers) gamers can take the wheel of the original Peugeot L500 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo or the Peugeot L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo in-game.

With Gran Turismo under its belt, what will the next challenge be for Peugeot in the gaming world?
