Pudsey becomes the face of Peugeot for the day

You may notice a VIB - very important bear - appearing in Peugeot's press adverts, at our dealerships across the UK and even on our website today, but it's all for a good cause. Peugeot are helping BBC Children in Need raise money for disadvantaged youngsters by allowing mascot Pudsey to take over our famous logo.

For the first time ever, Pudsey bear will replace the Peugeot's traditional branding in a redesigned logo that replicates Peugeot's famous lion. The move demonstrates Peugeot’s commitment to a year-long partnership with the BBC charity by leveraging one of the most recognisable mascots in the UK.

Pudsey will appear in all Peugeot's UK press adverts, on our website homepage, our Peugeot Facebook page, and across our Peugeot dealerships. The aim is to drive interest in the charity and raise money through 'Pudsey's Dream Wheels' - an online game where people can first design their dream car - complete with superhero cape or Pudsey eye-patch if they wish - and then, if they choose, make a small donation and enter their design into a competition to win a new Peugeot 208.

In addition to the 24-hour 'Pudsey takeover', the whole of Peugeot UK will be 'showing their spots' in support of BBC Children in Need during Friday 16th November.

Staff at Peugeot dealers up and down the country and at head office in Coventry will be wearing spotty clothing, selling Pudsey-themed merchandise and taking part in all kinds of fun activities, including a virtual bike ride, charity car wash, and even a Pudsey bake off - all to raise funds for this amazing cause.
