ONYX Concept car wins International Automobile Festival Prize

The Peugeot ONYX concept car, first shown at the Paris Motor Show last September, wins the prized accolade for 'Best Concept Car Design' at the 28th International Automobile Festival held in Paris on 29th January 2013.

The Peugeot ONYX Concept car is a tour-de-force, bringing excitement, performance and efficiency together with distinctive style, and embraces new technology with a combination of original and innovative materials.

Each year, the Grand Prix of the Festival International de l'Automobile rewards the finest achievements in the automotive world. These prizes are awarded by a jury of experts and enthusiasts from motorsport, but also architecture, fashion, design, culture and the media.

At the festival, the award for the ONYX was presented to Maxime Picat, Director General of Peugeot Automobiles, Gilles Vidal, Director of Peugeot Design, and Guillaume Couzy, Director of Marketing and Communications.

After being unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September 2012, the Peugeot ONYX Concept supercar has already been voted 'Favourite Concept Car in the World' by readers of Auto Plus and customers of RTL and also seduced the jury of the International Festival and Enthusiasts Automotive Design, winning the prize for the ‘Best Concept Car of the Year’.
