A re-generation of style and substance

As the latest installment of the acclaimed 2 Series, the 208 marks a true re-generation of this iconic range. Available in two distinct body styles, 3-door and 5-door, this uncompromising car offers increased interior space (+5cm at the knees) and a more generous boot (+15cm³ in volume) than the 207.

Combining the principles of agility and efficiency, the 208 is lighter (110g) and more compact (-7cm in length) than previous models in the series. New aesthetic details including a ‘Floating grille’ and ‘boomerang rear lights’ also give the 208 a sculpted, modern form.

The evolution of excellence

Inside, the controls have been designed to be entirely intuitive and clear. Positioned around a smaller steering wheel, there's a “head up instrument panel” and “large touch screen”. The overall result is an interior that allows occupants to feel truly connected with the car.

Using the latest engine technology including Stop/Start (e-HDI) the diesel range delivers fuel economy up to 83.1mpg. A new range of 3-cylinder petrol engines also provide up to 65.7mpg. Plus, with CO₂ emissions at an average of 34 g/km lower than the 207, it has excellent eco credentials too.
