But rather than just toe the line, we are proud that our commitment to the environment and dedication to finding more fuel-efficient new technologies goes way beyond current requirements.

We have made substantial investments in developing new technologies that not only improve fuel consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions, but also offer a real alternative to petrol and diesel:

iOn

The launch of the iOn opens another chapter in Peugeot’s long history of innovation. This brand new electric vehicle has an operating range of 93 miles on a single charge of its lithium-ion battery. It can be recharged in seven hours using a conventional mains power supply or up to 80% capacity within thirty minutes thanks to its fast charging system. The iOn is now available to order. 3008 HYbrid4

The 3008 will soon feature the world’s first diesel hybrid engine. By coupling a diesel power plant with an electric motor, Peugeot’s diesel hybrid technology provides a fuel consumption and CO2 emission saving of approximately 30% by comparison with the conventional petrol engine. Find out more

The BB1 could be the future of urban transport. This 100% electric cross between a scooter and a car uses solar cells to power many of the vehicle’s systems. The BB1 is a concept that further cements Peugeot’s leading position in producing innovative and practical vehicles that pay full respect to the environment.
