About Peugeot Sports

Motorsport - It's in the blood

In 1895 Peugeot won the world's first-ever motor sport event, the Paris - Bordeaux - Paris race in a Type 7. And a burning passion was born.

The thrill of the race has been in our blood ever since. Generations of Peugeots have blazed trials across the world of motorsport, breaking records and boundaries on the way:

Taking the rally world by storm

A UK first for the Intercontinental Rally Challenge

The IRC is the driver's choice of event, where talent, guts and sheer grit rule the day and amateurs compete against past World champions. It's a natural choice for Peugeot. 2009 sees another first as Peugeot UK enters a UK sponsored team with the only British drivers in the Challenge: Kris Meeke and his co-driver Paul Nagle. Everyone is focused on returning as this year's winners.

Peugeot UK and Kris Meeke start their campaign at the 77th Monte Carlo Rally, one of the world's oldest races. Kris will be driving the UK Kronos prepared 207 S2000 and setting his sights on a repeat performance of his victorious drive at the 2005 rally in the Junior World Rally Championship.

The team will also compete in rallies across the world from Brazil to Japan and finally home to the UK for the RAC MSA Rally of Scotland in November. Come along for the ride if you can handle the pace.
