New 3008 HYbrid 4 wins 'What Car? Green Car Award 2011'

Peugeot has further cause to celebrate today with the new 3008 HYbrid4 gaining its second award prior to launch. Following on from the coveted Diesel Car Magazine, ‘Best Eco Car of the Year 2011’ honour, won earlier this year, it has now been awarded a 2011 What Car? Green Car Award for the SUV category.

The new Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 is the world’s first full diesel hybrid. This environmentally friendly, ground-breaking car introduces a combination of diesel and electric power, a real breakthrough in technology and renewed driving sensations, while also delivering huge benefits in cost of ownership.

Two World Debuts for Peugeot at the Frankfurt Motor Show

For Peugeot, the product offensive launched in 2010 continues in 2011 with two strategic aims: becoming an international brand and an enhanced brand positioning.

The new Peugeot 508 RXH represents the new, up market positioned Peugeot. This new model both heads up and extends the 508 range, with an original design silhouette, justifying its exclusive designation – RXH.

The 508 RXH styling has its own distinctive character within the 508 range. Its elegance and style place it immediately in an exclusive world that combines premium-positioning, technology with the ability to experience adventure and promises of a new and unparalleled driving experience.

The Peugeot HX1 Concept Car

The new HX1 Concept Car gives Peugeot the opportunity to once again illustrate the brand's ability to reflect on new ideas, learn how to evolve and to continually reinvent itself. The brief for this concept was to produce a vehicle for up to six people, offering strong styling, that is sporty and efficient and at the same time giving a unique driving sensation.

To achieve this, the HX1 transcends the notions of adaptability in all areas, with its extreme aerodynamics (‘flaps’ are deployed to optimise aero efficiency according to vehicle speed), its tapered, low MPV architecture and its HYbrid4 power plant integrating ‘plug-in’ technology.

Peugeot RCZ, 508 and iOn win prestigious awards

Peugeot adds another 3 prestigious awards to its trophy cabinet with honours for the RCZ, 508 and iOn all in the same week.

The RCZ was named as 'Best Coupe' in the Auto Express New Car Awards 2011, while the 508 (1.6 e-HDi) and the all electric iOn were crowned 'Large Family Car Winner' and 'City Car Winner' respectively at the Next Green Car Awards 2011.

Peugeot launches the 107 EXPERIENCE on YouTube

Peugeot launches the 107 EXPERIENCE on YouTube : a worldwide interactive campaign with four customisable videos, thanks to Facebook Connect.

A special YouTube channel www.youtube.com/107experience will broadcast the personalised videos : the user will be able to watch the videos with their name in it, their picture, as well as their friends’ Facebook comments.

508 wins 'Best New Car of 2011' honour

Peugeot’s critically acclaimed just-launched 508 has won its first award after being crowned ‘Best New Car of 2011’ in the Fleet World Honours.

Phil Robson, Fleet Director for Peugeot, said: “The 508 is an incredible car and what better way to open up our awards account than winning Fleet World’s ‘Best New Car of 2011’. We’re confident this will be the first of many.”
