Victory for Peugeot UK in Brazil

Peugeot drivers Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle have celebrated their first win of the IRC season at the Rally Internacional de Curitiba.

The Peugeot UK team stormed to victory in their S2000, overcoming searing heat and slippery conditions to secure a 26.2 second margin over their nearest rival, team-mate Nicolas Vouilloz. It was a jubilant moment for Kris, who says: ‘This is one of the best rallies I have ever experienced.’

Driver Kris Meeke dominated Day One of the Rally Internacional de Curitiba yesterday.

The Peugeot UK driver set the fastest time on all seven stages in the S2000. And despite punishing temperatures, his performance alongside co-driver Paul Nagle means Peugeot UK is currently leading the Brazilian rally by 48.6 seconds.

Peugeot UK prepare for Brazil round of IRC

The Brazilian round of the IRC in Curitiba kicks off today – and the Peugeot UK team are ready to go.

Driver Kris Meeke and co-driver Paul Nagle set the fastest time in the shakedown yesterday in their 207 Super 2000. With a time of 2:24.30 on the short gravel stage, they beat the factory Abarth Grande Punto of Anton Alen by two-tenths of a second.

908 HDi FAP test drive

Simon Moulton, the 2008 THP Spider Cup champion, became the first British driver to officially test drive the 908 HDi FAP.

Following a consistent season and a nervy final race, the 36-year-old Briton clinched the 2008 title and won the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the sports prototype in Barcelona on 7 February.

Peugeot 3008 unveiled at Geneva Motor Show

Peugeot’s all-new 3008 has been given its world premier at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.

The crossover vehicle, which features CO2 emissions from just 130g/km, is due for launch in the Autumn.

Peugeot ready for IRC race in Brazil

Peugeot UK driver Kris Meeke made his mark in the first leg of the 2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge in Monte Carlo.

And he’s now set to show again how both he and Peugeot are a force to be reckoned with at the next round of the IRC in Curitiba Brazil, held between 5-7th March. Kris has already started his preparation for Brazil with a three-day test with Peugeot Sport in France.
