Peugeot Design Contest 2008 5th Edition

Have you got a vision of a car for the future?
Thanks to Peugeot’s design competition, it could become a reality.

Would-be designers are being invited to imagine a concept car that could be driven in the cities of tomorrow.

It must be environmentally friendly, economial… and celebrate the Peugeot style.
The concept car should also show ‘social harmony and interactive mobility’.

The contest, the fourth to take place, is open to entrants aged 14 and over. Would-be designers from more than 113 countries are expected to enter. Run by Peugeot, it is partnered by Xbox 360 and model diecast car experts Norev.

So do you think you’ve got what it takes to win?

All entrants need to do is send their design submissions to the design section of the Peugeot website from May 30 – July 20.

From these entries, a judging panel – including members of Peugeot’s Style Centre – will select 30 designs. These will then be put to an internet vote.

Ten finalists will be chosen and posted online, before the final winner is announced at the Paris Motor Show on October 2.

The winning design will be built, and unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show next April. The winner will also receive 10,000 Euros – nearly £8,000 – and an Xbox 360 games console.
