The Peugeot 308 CC has a new six-speed gearbox

A new six-speed automatic gearbox is to be introduced in Peugeot’s powerful 1.6 litre engine, this will add even more thrust to the stylish 308 CC.

The attractive curves and sleek design of the 308 CC make for a luxurious drive and the new six-speed gearbox enables it to withstand a maximum torque of 300Nm.

The automatic gearbox is light and compact and has been engineered to reduce the 308 CC’s fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 7% less than the previous gearbox.

The new gearbox also makes the car quicker off the mark and provides smooth, responsive gear changes.

It is a perfect compliment to the Euro 5-approved Manual 1.6 petrol engine. The management system inside the gearbox enables drivers to choose from two driving modes. The automatic option is ideal for quiet, relaxed cruising and a more active mode is useful on short, stop-start drive.

The Airwave Neck Heating System or ‘heat scarf’ embedded in the lavishly designed seats gently wafts warm air to keep out any chills.

The 308 CC is ideal for summer driving but you won’t feel the cold through the rest of the year as the electric heating system in the leather seats* keeps passengers and drivers snug and warm when on the road.
