Turn up the heat in the 308 GT...
The Peugeot 308 GT THP 175.

The 308 has a hot new model… the turbo-charged GT THP 175.

Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March, it is powered by a 1.6-litre THP 175 bhp petrol engine.

And with a six-speed manual gearbox, the pocket rocket promises a 0-60mph time of 8.3 seconds.

But it’s not just under the bonnet where the 308 GT turns up the heat. It’s also been given a few cosmetic tweaks.

The new top of the range petrol model’s front bumper is deeper than standard, with a rear spoiler. Inside, there is an aluminium chrome finish and a new steering wheel design.

Designed in co-operation with the BMW Group, the turbo-charged petrol engine has a generous torque output of up to 195 lb ft.

But this high performance doesn’t mean poor miles per gallon – or CO2 emissions. Instead the combined fuel consumption is 37.1mpg.

And emissions are 180g/km – 10 per cent less than those of the 307 2.0-litre Feline 180.

The 308 GT THP 175 goes on sale in April.
