Peugeot LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) range grows

The all-new Bipper, Partner and Partner Origin ranges are the latest additions to Peugeot’s LCV line-up. Here’s all you need to know about the new arrivals…

Peugeot Partner

The new Partner van, on sale from June, is available in two trim levels – S and SE.

The S version will be available in a choice of three payloads: 625 kg, 750 kg and 850 kg and two body lengths L1 (standard) and L2 (extended). This second body length is available from Autumn 2008.

Standard specification for the S model includes:

15” steel wheels,
Electric front windows,
ABS and EBA (emergency braking assistance),
Driver’s airbag, selective central locking
180^o opening rear doors.

The SE version is also available in the same payloads, but with HDi diesel engines only. Standard and extended body lengths are also available.

The SE specification includes electric heated door mirrors, left-hand side sliding door, multi-flex passenger seat and one touch electric windows.

Prices start from £10,395.

Peugeot Bipper

On sale from June is the all-new Bipper range.
Filling the gap between the 207 van and the Partner Origin, the Bipper standard specification includes:

14” steel wheels,
ABS,
Driver’s airbag,
Asymmetric steel rear 180^o opening doors
Power steering.

It will be available in two versions: S – the standard specification – and S with Plus Pack. This version has added extras including remote control central locking with separate cab and load area locking and automatic drive-away door locking.

The Bipper will also have two gearbox options – including for the first time on a Peugeot LCV an electronically controlled manual gearbox. The electronic control of this 2-Tronic gearbox can reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Prices start from £7,995.

Peugeot Partner Origin

On sale from May is the Partner Origin – the renamed Peugeot Partner.

The van is powered by Peugeot’s 1.6 litre HDi 75 bhp diesel engine. And two payload options will be available: 600 kg and 800 kg – both with a load volume of 3.0 m³.

And that’s not all. Optional extras include Plus Pack (with remote central locking, electric windows, electric adjustable heated mirrors), air conditioning, half height bulkhead options, left-hand sliding side door, raised suspension with under engine protection plate, cruise control and speed limiter.

Prices start from £10,140.
